Bruno Morand is a recognized business leader in energy services sector. With 15 years of experience in offshore drilling services, Bruno Morand has most recently served as Vice President of Marketing and Contracts for Borr Drilling where he led the company's global marketing, sales and business development efforts.
Previously, Bruno Morand has also worked at Noble Drilling where he has served in several management positions in the areas of Operational Management, Project Management, Marketing and Customer Relationship Management.
Over his career in the offshore drilling services, Bruno Morand has developed a strong network of customers and business partners. He effectively uses his broad experience in offshore sector to negotiate contracts and develop new businesses based on an end-to-end approach and fostering an active collaboration between the areas of marketing/commercial, finance, legal and operational management.
Bruno holds a B.Eng. degree in Industrial Engineering from the Rio de Janeiro University – UERJ and Executive Education in Energy from Cox School of Business from SMU Dallas, USA. His executive experience includes business development and joint ventures, client portfolio build up and management, operational management including the execution of major capital projects, investors and government relations.
With over two decades of experience in managing Oil and Gas business, with focus in drilling, Rafael Andrade offers a unique blend of leadership and expertise in the financial and commercial areas. He has served as Vice President Country Manager for the publicly listed companies Paragon Offshore and Noble Drilling, with a proven track record of financial and operational performance, including receiving the recognition from Petrobras as top ranking drilling contractor.
Rafael Andrade has international experience having lived in Brazil, Switzerland, United States of America and United Arab Emirates. He has made the greatest impact in start-up projects to set up business and drilling activities in Countries with challenging regulations such as Argentina, Angola and Brazil, being proactive to address specific local requirements having delivered the projects within the targeted timeline and budget.
Specialised in complex negotiations of Deepwater Drilling contracts and disputes against National and International Oil Companies. Acted as expert on a restructuring project with focus on cash flow management and contract renegotiations efforts to support the turnaround strategy. Most recently involved as lead advisor and negotiator in a dispute amounting to over U$400 million related to drilling contracts cancellation. Its main clients are involved in varied segments such as Deepwater Drilling, Offshore Support Services, Private Equity and Law Firms.
Rafael has also held leadership roles in consulting companies such as Andersen and Deloitte specifically assigned to Oil and Gas projects. He was responsible for the project that supported the Brazilian Petroleum Agency to define the ground rules for Oil and Gas activities in Brazil.
Rafael holds a Business Economics degree from the Rio de Janeiro University – UERJ and Executive Education in Energy from Cox School of Business from SMU Dallas, USA.
